Hello and thanks for visiting! Since graduating from Stevenson College with an Advanced Diploma in Photography, I have been photographing weddings throughout Scotland, now with 17 years experience.
As well as photography, I have extensive experience as a photographic printer and in the digitisation of archival collections. Giving me extensive knowledge of film and digital imaging equipment and applications. These skills have helped me improve as a photographer, as well as creating album layouts and designs for clients. I believe a relaxed but professional approach is what you need from everyone involved at your wedding. As well as getting those striking ‘bride and groom’ images, I aim to capture your family, friends and those little details and candid moments that can make your day so memorable.
I won't spend ages posing you in awkward positions – I prefer to take a relaxed attitude and go with the flow of the day, rather than dictating how your wedding should be run. I like to shoot in a reportage style, capturing people looking relaxed, happy and unaware of my camera. Every wedding and every couple is unique and I try to reflect this in my work. The creative process begins with each couple and their personal vision of their wedding day.
